We sampled a watermelon flavored sucker
and—according to the testing results on the
package—these medicated candies contain 6.28mg
of CBD and 23.94mg of THC. That being said, the
sucker that we tried came from a batch that was
formulated to contain more (non-psychoactive)
CBD than (psychoactive) THC. The good thing
about this type of CBD-rich edible is that since
you won’t end up inebriated, allowing you to
function throughout the day. The sucker could
easily be dosed into halves or fourths (the
Ziploc-like package is re-sealable so you can
store it for later if you don’t consume the
whole thing) for individuals with a low
tolerance, because 23.94mg of THC is a big dose
since this edible could be considered
sublingual. After eating the whole sucker, it
takes approximately 15-25 minutes for the full
effect to kick in. It starts with a warm pulsing
feeling in the torso that gradually shifts to
the whole body—ideal for relieving severe
arthritis for quite a few hours as well as any
other aches and pains. It will also increase
your appetite about an hour after ingested. This
sucker packs a very substantial dose of healthy
cannabinoids in a very small package—without
being overpowering.
